St. Maries Middle School 
Daily Announcements 
September 6, 2022 

7th and 8th graders will have health in the classroom this week.

Students will be allowed into St. Maries Middle School and our Middle School Gym at 7:25 each morning.  If students are dropped off earlier than that, they will need to wait outside.
 
If you are unsure of what bus to ride after school, please come to the office to ask for help before the end of the day.
  
Save the Date: Picture day is this Friday, September 9th.  Picture packets will be passed out to all students today during 8th hour.
 
Students can use the student phone, located in the office, before school and at lunch. Students are not allowed to use the phone after school, unless it is an emergency.
 
If students/parents didn’t come to register for school, please come to the office to pick up registration forms to be taken home.  Parents can also log on to skyward family access to complete online verification at, www.sd41.org. 
All students interested in playing football and volleyball: please be aware that you’ll need to complete a concussion test with Mrs. Waisanen before you can participate in practice.  Concussion tests will be tomorrow, Wednesday September 7th, beginning at 3:00 in the middle school.
 
If you want to play a middle school sport, please make sure all of your sports forms are turned into the office.  If you need sports forms to take home and sign with your parents, please stop by the office to pick them up.  More information on sports and practices will come at a later date.
 
Today’s lunch is German sausage, baked beans, crinkle cut fries, peaches, and milk. 

SMMS Helpful Tips 
If students are riding a different bus after school, all bus requests must be to the Middle School Office by 1:00 that day.
 
If your student is absent from school, please call the office to excuse their absence.  You can also send a note with your student when they return to school.
